The Clip is a customized cassette tape made for German hip-hop outfit The Tape's show in Berlin in the spring of 2007. The tape had to be playable after my treatment so I went for a simple stencilled paintjob and focused on making a case for the tape. Off course the usual ideas of making it look like Darth Vader or a skull crossed my mind, but I went for something that wasn't really any more original: Weaponry. The thinking behind this is that your boombox is your weapon, you mixtape is your ammo. Customizing something as ancient as a cassette tape was a bit strange, but very funny. Maybe I should do a floppy disk or something soon. For sale at the show
