DIY TOP TRUMPS! or 25 is a one-day workshop focusing on "live" research, on-the-fly brainstorming/graphic design. The system is flexible and will also help the participants get to grips with serialized designs. The one on the pictures took place in Berlin's Zoologischer Garten but the workshop can be tailormade to fit any subject or scenario that participants then base their top trumps card on. A bunch of blank cards are handed out and after designing and filling out the cards, we play. There's some material costs for this workshop, but also a useable end product that will remind the participants of the creative method of the workshop - or they can simply use the cards to rip their opponents apart in a good old duel. The briefing can be kept loose or tight, depending on the level of the participants. back to One-day index
