2 hour workshops with Annabelle Hartmann, whose brainchild this really is, at the London Metropolitan University as part of an induction day. The students - who didn't know each other - were spilt up in groups and started jotting down shared interests. We had students of all backgrounds and nationalities but food-stuff seemed to be the preferred shared interest as three out of the five groups had this as their favourite shared interest. After this brainstorm/discussion session, we handed out glue, scissors and paper, but no rocks and told the groups to build a suit based on their shared interest - they had an hour to do so and afterwards, the other teams would guess the interest they had in common and then trash the costumes they'd made.
