Treasure Mapping was a quick half day project with a bunch of younger students with the simple idea: A typographic treasure hunt in the local area. (In this case Clerkenwell, London.) The brief had different levels depending on how adventurous the students felt and it had a homework part where the students had to map their finds on a sheet - just to geek out on the pirate theme. Geekiness was the hidden agenda with this one, getting the students to open their eyes to their surroundings.
