Time was up and I took the corissants out of the oven they'd gone up, but not very much and where done. Ending the experiment by sinking my teeth into them I wasn't surprised to find that no, they weren't as good as remembered.
Not that they ever were good, I had just tasted a couple more croissants since then and upped my expectations.
They were quite fatty and salty but I still ate them which is probably why a product like this exists - people make do and when bad stuff isn't too bad, or even better - cheap - they'll sell. |
