Calligrafight Club Day one: The teams were off to a flying start, some time on day two they ground to a halt - this was entirely my fault as the workshop was this loosely structured research project, they just didn't have a goal anymore. I told them to pull together, hold on and push themselves. They did and what was made in the last couple of hours on day two was truly amazing. I'm getting ahead of myself, though, we're still at day one... the outdoor team started playing around with shadows made using huge sheets of cut out paper suspended from the flag pole - a flag pole that later gave up under the pressure. They also did a few experiments with mirrors and at one point, when they had two long mirrors and a smaller square on, I found myself yelling for them to play Pong read on |
